September ECHL Signings of CHL Players

Four CHL players have signed contracts with ECHL teams this month. In addition, two others have signed AHL contracts and been assigned to ECHL teams.

Elgin Reid (Windsor Spits, OHL) signed an AHL contract with the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins and was assigned to the ECHL Wheeling Nailers.

Luke Lynes (Brampton Battalion, OHL) signed an AHL contract with the Springfield Falcons and has been assigned to the Stockton Thunder

Other recent CHL players that signed with ECHL teams this month are:
Judd Blackwater (Spokane Chiefs, WHL) signed with the Fresno Falcons.
Wes Cunningham (Plymouth Whalers, OHL) signed with the Florida Everblades.
Kris Sparre (Mississauga Majors, OHL) signed with the Idaho Steelheads
Geoff Walker (PEI Rocket, QMJHL) signed with the Phoenix Roadrunners.

Rather than finishing the explanation of who was in camps and has been cut, at this point, it would be more efficient to just list who is still with an NHL team. It is surprising how many CHL players are still in NHL camps, but this number will be reduced precipitously over the next few days.
